I have a 1995 Lexus sc400 and both drivers and passengers windows don't work and today I ripped open the door grommet and found some wire a that where torn I connect them together I figured that they would fix the problem but it still the same checked the relays and fuses all in working order the passenger window worked for 2 tries and it freaking stayed open and my sunroof stayed open soo they where open and like 5 hours later they worked . I don't know what else to do I need help please I was thinking on taking my car to a automotive Electrician . Any ideas ?

Did the windows move s-l-o-w-l-y when they did work? It sounds like you window regulators are tired. My passenger side and moonroof both checked out. I purchased a window regulator complete with motor, new old stock from Amazon. About $150.00. Also, the window tracks need to be lubricated regularly with silicone spray.
