Of note, there was no evident power loss above 4k RPM by removing the intake resonator in test 1, essentially replicating what SC300_704 did. The gains are pretty consistent above that point, but there's that odd dip around 3850-4000 RPM. Too bad we can't see what's going on below 3750.

The flanges look identical, however they are different part numbers. Similarly how the 3UZ MAF will fit on the 1UZ and vice versa, but won't make the engine work correctly. So I think any 2JZGTE compatible intake should work since the flanges look identical.

So i got around to doing my heat shield for the intake filter, im actually surprised that the gain was more noticeable than my bfi mod.
Card board cutout was for mocking it up then i put it into production using aluminum sheets and weather stripping to block out heat.
