Default R154 VSS Marlin Crawler Sensor Issue

Hello CL,

Ran into a problem doing my R154 swap. I purchase from driftmotion a Marlin Crawler VSS sensor. It arrived this wednesday. However, when i try to screw the sensor into my MKIII VSS housing, it would not thread it. It appeared the the sensor thread width is slightly larger then my MKIII VSS housing. I never seen anything like this or came across any thread that encounter this problem.

Picture is attached below. in addition, I though the Marlin Crawler sensor was grey. Not the Black ebay one...

Just reporting this issue is resolved.

Driftmotion sent me the correct VSS, the old one they sent was indeed bigger.

I am guessing it is a M22 thread size instead of a M21.

The grey one screw in perfect!

Sorry I didn't see this until now. Looks like you got it solved but yes, the grey MC VSS convertor is the correct and only one we use for MKIII R154's.
