sc400 hydro fan only spins on low speed & over heats
Only when the a/c is on which taxes the cooling system but the fan only spins on low no matter what so where to start to diag the problem?
i have been searching for the past 2 days to no avl
I would like it to run wide open all of the time as its hot in Florida if there is a way to rig it up to do so?
I am going to swap this one this winter but am driving it daily as of now.

That was my problem.
my $0.02 ... if you are moving at a brisk rate the normal air flow is enough to keep the system at operating temp. Fan speed issue come up when you are crawling in traffic.
Do the kick-up in speed test to eliminate the fan speed issue, but look else where for heating issues ... thermostat/hoses/waterpump/air in the system.
If your coolant is disappearing then look for leaks. SC400 has a plastic radiator top and that develops a leak after number of years.
