Default Coolant problem

Good morning Club Lex. My 1995 Lexus sc400 is low on antifreeze at least twice a week. I'm having to fill the reservoir at least twice a week. Also the temp gauge moves toward hot at highway speeds when the a/c is on. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Check your oil. If it's milky and has bubbles then more than likely your head gasket is blown and coolant is passing through. If there is no obvious coolant leak that's probably the issue

if oil looks normal, run the car to temp and look if you see a leak coming from WP weep hole. some have a line attached to weep to let it drip elsewhere. early sign of wp failure. ive seen wasp nest plug that line thus no signs of drip. also check tstat.

Will be checking the thermostat. Could it possibly be sticking and causing coolant to be blown out elsewhere? Recently had water pump, pulleys, and timing belts changed. Also switched to aftermarket electric cooling fans.

Checked my t-stat. To my surprise(wtf) I only found HALF a t- stat. Replaced it with a new and FULL one. Testing it now.
