Coolant issue
I have a 2006 is250. I am having issues with my coolant. I always have the need to add coolant everyday. My car overheated once coz i ran out of coolant. No leaks. Anyone have an idea on what the issue is?
No puddles, or any other obvious evidence of a coolant leak (pink crust anywhere besides the expansion tank)? Check the water pump around the weep hole. Otherwise, any obvious signs of coolant in your oil (milky appearance)? Another culprit could be a bad radiator cap.
Did you do a UV dye test? Pressure test (this would rule out the head gasket)?
