Stand Alone for 2jzge non vvti
I have been researching for a while now and cant seem to find a straight answer. Im looking at rebuilding a 2jzge motor non vvti( built bottom end, cams, turbo, etc) So I been trying to find a stand alone like AEM but everything seems to be for a vvti motor or the gte motors. What are people using for na-t setups that are non vvti?
The car is a 93 sc300

30-6101 Series 2 Plug & Play EMS. TOYOTA: 93-97 Supra Non-Turbo
This is the only one I can find but its for a Supra. Will this work (plug and play) for a SC300?

Do you plan on running pump or flex fuel.. if pump only or e85only then arm 1101 is pnp with just adding wiring for map and Iat .... if flex fuel then 6101. I may be selling my aem v1 1101 to go to pro efi 112 .. if you are using 1000 to 1100 cc injector and 67 mm turbo then my tune is in the box and ready to run ,just a little tweaking

you can use the aem ems standalone from a tt supra. i personally run it on my na-t non vvti setup and it works like a charm. you also have the option to swap for a GTE later on if needed

there used to be decent support through the forums on the AEM website. Now all that good information is gone. I have AEM and I would avoid it, just for that reason. Find a tuner that you plan to use and then ask the tuner what they like to work with.

Check out Megasquirt 3 DIYAutotune, I think they also make a plug and play setup for the JZ. Check out that site. Costs less than AEM, Plenty of Support online. There is a Megasquirt forum and shared Maps. I have an older Megasquirt 2 im going to run my 2jzge off of.
