Been having a problem with my sc lately. Anything over 3000 rpm in an gear I get a large vibration, here is a video I took. I can make it go away by pushing the clutch pedal in 20 times or so but it comes right back after 3000 rpm. An help would be great.
RPS CC With the RPS Cromoly Steel FW.
Car was in second gear on a lift and got the RPM to 3000 when you saw how it started to vibrate. It does that in all gears while driving or standing still. Below 3000 its fine.
Looks to me like a throw out bearing since the clutch fork moves around so much from the vibration. Take the clutch fork out and see how the bearing is.
Thank you guys, that's what I was thinking also its just weird cuz as you all know every single bolt, nut and part was absolutely brand new and I have only heard of throw out bearing making noise when bad and not causing vibrations like this correct me if I'm wrong here
It seems like some this out of round. Since everything oem Toyota is usually pretty good the only thing I would pay close attention to is the rps c/c clutch. The flywheel and pressure plate where the input bearing goes and where the hub rides on.
