Default transmission mounts help!

So Ive recently replaced my transmission mounts on my AUTO sc300. The old mount had actually cleaved into two pieces.

Anyways, there was a slight noise prior to changing the mounts, now there is a rather noisey clanking sound. It sounds as though as the new mount is actually raising the transmission too high and the driveshaft is the transmission well.

Everything was bolted up correct; Ive double checked specifications, and one of the four bolts snapped while torquing to specs of 19ft/lbs.

any ideas what the issue might be?. ordering a new mount today and dont want to make the same mistake with that

Are the mounts hitting the heat shield? That could rattle if not tighten correctly.

Did you take the driveshaft off at all? If you did, make sure the center bearing is on the right way.
