Default Limp mode

I personally find to be extremely dangerous. Why can't a light go on by itself. Having the car go to limp mode is stupid, and could get somebody killed. Does anyone know how to bypass that?

When the car goes on limp mode it's telling you not to drive it 'cause its dangerous. If you drive it still, then it's your fault. SMH

Well, a dirty MAF sensor, or a dirty throttle body isn't as dangerous as a car goin limp on the freeway in SoCal at 75 mph . I suppose there are some situations that need a limp mode, but I don't see that as one...
