you dont need a -8n line .. stock line at 5/16 is not quite big enough to support flow on this big pump and you will burn it up .. a -6an line is perfect with a -6an return ..

this is very simple to do and this 1 pump will fit your needs with headroom to spare .. dont skimp on fuel and what i would also reccomend instead of using the typical aem uego wideband is get the aem failsafe gauge as it will protect your motor if this 1 pump drops pressure

I made over 500 on a stock oem tt fuel pump. Had to upgrade to -6 feed line but kept stock return line.

on a denso 290 lph you can keep stock return , on a walbro 400lph design , without a -6an return or -8an return it will overrun your fpr ..

for around 500 ish a stock denso is okay , but for more headroom and less amperage draw go with the walbro and place a -6an bulkhead fitting on the fuel level sender cap and be done with it .. i use the stock feed and stock return fittings under the tank on pass side of car for a dual dump return into the slosh bucket .. the easier the fuel can return to tank the less friction occurs

those were -6an bulkhead fittigs on the sender cap .. fed by -6an/barb hose end coming from the pumps.... the cheapest place for E85 friendly fittings and SS braided teflon lines I found are at anfittingsdirect.com

I just use one right now .. but with room to expand with the other two bulkhead. Though right now, I am using one as a vent port for the tank since it is a requirement for the Weldon 2345a









this is the E85 friendly Racetronix hose that feed one port which costs less than $4 compared to a $25 gates submersible hose.

question. what if i ran dual pumps. in the in-line fashion.

so i can avoid tryin to figure out how to get the gas out the tank with only an external pump. couldn't i use a walboro pump to feed the aeromotive A1000?



i tentatively have this in trade for a chipped SARD 3rd GEN 3SGTE computer. but with all the results im seeing here. i am not sure what to embrace.

can a fuel pump like the A1000 be used for daily use? or would it be safer to run Dual Denso pumps?

yanno since they are OEM and reliable as hell.

i have done more research since i made this post. and this aeromotive pump is hit or miss. i think im going to go with Dual Denso pumps. its easier to hook up. plus u can't beat a fuel pump that can last over 150k without changing it.

for 500 to 600 hp a single walbro 400 is more then enough .. no need for dual anything unless you are going higher and even then just still do 400lph and a kenne bell boost a pump that activates under boost and raises voltage to pump to 16volts which at that point good for 700 on e 85 much less pump gas

Couple pics of my poor-mans dual 255hp in-tank parallel setup. The Y-fitting I used I'm unhappy with, caused me to get creative and "loopy" with the fuel lines. Will be redoing with a different fitting and cleaning it up this winter.

I could of swore the walbro 400 was not E85 compatible... walbro 416 is tho right?

Driftmotion.com sells a walboro 400 pump thats E85 compatitble. its like 12 dollars more or something stupid like that.
