MR2 Electronic Power Steering Pump?
Hi Everyone,
I see that some people use the 91-95 MR2 electric power steering pump on kit cars and such. They can be found on ebay for around $200. I'd probably spend the extra on a rebuilt unit form NAPA. I can't see where anyone has tried this. These pumps have separate ecus which can be wired up easy. Some people have them running all the time without the ecu. My main question concerns the belt. Would it be best to fab a dummy pully or could some shorter serpentine belt be used? Thoughts on this mod are greatly appreciated.
