Default Won't start

Has anyone had this happen where when you turn the key you Get a single click? It may happen a few more times or sometimes maybe 10. But then it starts up like normal?
Don't look forward to pulling the intake manifold to check the starter if it is the key switch.

Sounds to me like a flat spot on the starter.
