No Vacuum?
I will post a picture tomorrow when there is light, but im hoping someone can help. There is a round piece by the intake manifold with multiple vacuum lines attached to it. One goes to the heater valve thing, one to the egr and one to the fuel pressure regulator. Problem is, the one line connecting to provide vacuum has pull, but nothing from the hoses on the other end. what is this piece called?

I dunno what it is called exactly, but my guess is that it is a pressure solenoid. Is there an electric harness that runs to it?
Edit, I just looked at my car, and assuming we are looking at the same thing, it appears to be a vacuum diaphragm, which I would guess will only open up to provide vacuum to the other lines, when the vacuum in the system hits or exceeds a certain amount of vacuum. You could test this with a cheap vacuum pump that you can buy at Harbor Freight or most hardware stores.
2nd edit..
Is it the EGR Vacuum Modulator in this pic?
Thanks,
Rick
