cr with gte pistons, na hg? TT hg?
I've been looking around the past few nights and I haven't found a solid answer on which combo works and what the real compression ratio would be since the GE head is suppose to be different then the GTE in terms of combustion chamber.
2jzge using ge head
gte pistons with na hg... I've read it should be 8.6, 9.3, 9.6cr ???? Best squish area??
gte pistons with gte hg... I Saw 8.2 and 8.5cr worst squish area??
ge pistons with gte hg 9.1 cr not the best squish but good cr for boost, is that right??
got my motor apart and I have a set of both ge and gte pistons so I'm trying to figure out what is best to use
this would also apply if you were getting aftermarket pistons as well since most readily avail pistons are for the GTE and i.e. if they are advertised as 8.5 CR how would we achieve that CR in our NA-T? which HG?
anyone try these? Hoping for someone who has tried this before or has a link to something solid, every thread I find had different info
