Expansion valve Identity Crisis!
Here is my situation. Overhauling my AC system and I have all the parts BUT the expansion valve. I'm on my second FAILED order and can't figure out what I should do? I'm not ordering another 1992 valve.... I'm assuming my unit was previously replaced with a different model but need help identifying it.
The oem has a 58 stamped on it and the new part has a 53...

I did a little research on part numbers for you, there are 4 different part numbers total. Some years have 2-3 different part numbers for that specific year. If you can find out exactly when your car was manufactured you might be able to find the part number you need. If you have the part number you ordered you can atleast eliminate one
