Default Battery Issues Please Help

So I've searched the forums and couldnt quite find all of the information that I needed.
So here it goes, I have a 92 5sp SC300, I have HID fogs with the 97 kit so ofcourse I had to mod in order for them to work. I am running them through the city lights for power but I do have a wiring kit with a relay attached. Anyways, my car shuts off at any given time and when it does, its completely dead. Tonight once died I jiggled the positive cable and the car came back on. Its not the alternator because I just put on new one on tonight. I looked at some of the threads and it could be a bad ground, Its not fun driving down the interstate at night and your car dies no lights no power and you have to safely get off the roead with no lights nor power and jiggle the positive cord and hope you get a connection.I am hoping someone reads this that had this issue before.
I thank you in advance for any help.

It's most likely a bad connection if jiggling brings it back to life...have you cleaned the terminals and connectors and tightened it so it doesn't jiggle
