When i hit the gas I get a loud whistling, crying noise from the engine. I had a es300 before and when the altenator was going it started to make the same kind of noise, cause the berrings were bad. On my sc300 I dont know if its some type of berring on something that spins or could it be my water pump because its well over do. Is this a common problem on a 94 sc300 and if so then what is it, cause its imbarassing.

The sound of a belt slipping? Water pump, power steering, alternator. What is not working right? Take a look at the serpentine belt. Have someone gas it while you look at it and try to locate the noise.
