its a much stronger transmission off a 5 speed mk3 supra turbo. however, it uses a different bellhousing which you can find on www.driftmotion.com but that wont bolt up to the 1uz :/ unless theres a adapter plate for that. youll also need the shifter relocator if you get the trans from a supra. otherwise you could source a "Soarer r154" which is the jdm version of a sc300 with the TT inline 6 1jzgte. this already has the shifter in the correct position and has a elect. speedo instead of a gear driven one like the mk3 supra. that can be corrected with the marlin crawler VSS however.
I had one of those transmissions but i sold it for 1800. they are between 1500-2250 range. the mk3 r154 is in the 600 dollar range
even stronger still is the getrag 6spd trans from a mk4 supra turbo. these go for ALOT more! around the 2-4k price range JUST for the trans.
good luck, i would say get the r154 and find a machine shop to mate the r154 bellhousing to the 1uz but the flywheel/clutch setup.. idk what to tell you
