Default 1jz problems..

I've been doin my research on web for past weeks now but cant realy pin point to resolve the problem.
I have a 1jz auto stock swap in sc400. Im having issue wit the engine not revving past 2500rpm. It feels like it just wana stall or die out when im pushing the gas. It will start wit no problem but after about 5mins or so thats when it will start to act up. Ive notice that my belt tensioner was rattlin' when i was cruesing b4 the problem starts. I need help to see if my belt tensioner is givin me that problem or it could be a bad MAP sensor. can anyone help pls.

Rey...

Who did the wiring? If the starter circuit isn't wired up right it can cause that problem, but it's just one of many possibilities.

Definitely try running the codes, that may very well give you the clue you're looking for. The JZA70s do seem to have a cap problem, I know that Driftmotion.com fixes them.

best place to start is to look for trouble codes. A MAP sensor could be the issue, but it sounds like it could also be a coolant temp sensor. Run the codes and see what the ECU spits out

Just got the car back about an hour ago i had it diagnosed. The shop didnt find any codes at all. They pretty much went thru the whole car for about 5hrs straight. Check my coils, fuel pump, fuel filter, map, tps, o2, all vacuums good. The car runs and drivable just cant past 25mph so it coming down into my fuel regulator cuz it feels like not gettin enough. Ill keep yall posted when i get to it.

It does sound like it could be a fuel issue, was the swap done before you had it?
