SC300 Engine vibration on idle
i just got major tune up done including timingbelt, water pump, new distributor, wires, plugs, seals everything and there is still very little vibration sometimes when car is on idle, can't figure out what is it, its nothing big but sometimes little worrying, also one fin is broken on the fan, mechanic is saying, its due to that but doesn't seem logic that one fin missing will make the engine shake, any help would be appreciated
thanks

Don't go buying a new fan from the dealer unless you want to. I'm sure someone on here can sell you a fan super cheap, just tell then you need the fan only and not the fan clutch attached to it (unless they want to throw you a bone and include the clutch as well). I'd also change the tranny mount since it's cheap and also will make the car run a little smoother. Good luck.

This thread was informative to me because I didnt even think of the fan. I was getting this weird vibration, but the car ran fine. In my head, I was thinking it was either my crank pulley going, or my flywheel got loose. Either one of those to fix is such a pita that I was dreading fixing it. I came across this thread, took a look at my fan, and low and behold, one of my fan blades broke. I had a spare fan from my GE sitting around, and 20 minutes later I was up and running problem solved. Nice!
