Whhhyyy did changing spark plugs and spark plug wires turn into a tedious frustrating project? What is this removing the whole intake manifold BS??

400 is easier than 300

You haven't lived until you've replaced the license plate light bulb in an IS300. I'd rather do the plugs.

it shouldnt take any longer than 45min on an sc300..I have done my plugs several times and its easy, and i'm including the extra time with the intercooler pipes and turbo in the way...guess mechanical inclination is at an all time low these days

My SC300 only took abt 45 minutes the first time I did it. It really wasn't too bad compared to other 6 cylinder imports i've worked on. I did the plugs on my g/f's '97, 4 cylinder accord last month. it only took abt 20 minutes for plugs, wires, cap and rotor.
