im assuming its a 400, cause the 300 you only need to remove the throttle body and it only takes about 45min tops..

if it's his first time changing on a sc3, it wont be anywhere near 30 or 45 min, it will take longer. Even longer if you try not to remove the IM.

400 is easier than 300

The 400 was pretty much a gravy job.... the 300 I bittt'ed about https://www.clublexus.com/forums/per...slike-you.html

You haven't lived until you've replaced the license plate light bulb in an IS300. I'd rather do the plugs.

it shouldnt take any longer than 45min on an sc300..I have done my plugs several times and its easy, and i'm including the extra time with the intercooler pipes and turbo in the way...guess mechanical inclination is at an all time low these days

the intake manifold does NOT need to removed, only the throttle body..

My SC300 only took abt 45 minutes the first time I did it. It really wasn't too bad compared to other 6 cylinder imports i've worked on. I did the plugs on my g/f's '97, 4 cylinder accord last month. it only took abt 20 minutes for plugs, wires, cap and rotor.
