It's been awhile since I've posted an update. Slow economy = slow funds. Here is the progress on my cylinder heads.

Time for the short block.

kick *** thread, great job! I just found it and read it start to finish. Very cool stuff man, I'm jealous on the interior. What all did you do so far, redo the parts with black material or source out stock black interior parts? And the carpet you said you used left over material, you just laid black fabric over the tan? Either way, good job on everything so far.

I painted the interior black. I wanted to focus my monetary attention to get the wheels turning. I may eventually replace with an actual black interior, but for now I'm okay with it. What I did for the carpet was remove the tan carpet from the floor mold, i then laid black material (almost like corduroy) down with adhesive spray. I bought some new black floor mats so I don't think it will be noticeable anyway unless you are looking for it.

I'm saving for the bottom end of the block. Once I do that, I'll be experimenting with the sts turbo setup. I'm going to support the lower end of the rpm range with nitrous until the boost kicks in. The hard part is waiting to save up the money for the short block. I really want to get this thing on the road.

My amex card is going to be awefully pissed off. Just ordered some goodies. These are the Rods from TTC Performance and the Pistons are JE.... These are the advertised photos, but you get the point.
