motor swap questions! 1jz or 2jz?
well ive been contemplate on doing an NA-T build or Swap and decided i might just want to go swap with the right resources. my question is
where is there a reputable importer for 1jzgte or 2jzgte motors w/ a 5speed tranny or auto tranny and ecu in Socal?
any recommendation as far as usdm or jdm? obdI or II?
ive got a 92 sc300 with 108k miles. possible it might be better to do a 1.5jz being my mileage is somewhat low?
also what am i looking to spend as far as a swap going versus an NA-T build.
this is my first time swapping in a motor but isnt my first taking one out. ive done my timing belt and clutch for my miata so swapping a motor shouldnt be any harder im guessing. any info will be great! thanks!

Sounds good, just visited their site and seems they ve got no inventory for those motors atm. Anyone else? Anyone every experience buying from ebay? Some vendors seems like they've got pretty clean motors from the pictures......

I got mine from ebay and have been happy with it. Just research your vendor before purchase.
1jz - $1500 or so for engine, harness (uncut) and tranny (auto) more for clip
2jz - $2000+ ^ ^ ^ ^
the 2jz vs. 1jz is really in the eyes of the beholder. Very comparable engines, but you get what you pay for.
