Default Weird sound when turning the steering wheel

When I am turning the steering wheel to the left or right there is a weird sound coming from the engine bay near the passenger side. The steering wheel may have a slight vibration along with the sound. This happens either when the car is moving or stationary. Does anyone know what this is? It just started to happen yesterday. Thanks in advance!

Is my power steering pump going bad? If I have to replace it, is there other stuff I should replace while I am in there? Thanks!

I read in other threads that the filter at the bottom of the reservoir may need to be cleaned? I would hope I don't need to replace the power steering pump since my car only has 32k miles. The sound is more like a humming sound but not that loud.

Does it sound like a horse or does it sound like a rattle snake?

If it sounds like a horse your tensioner is loosening up so you'll need to replace that and the drive belt. If it sounds like a rattle snake your reservoir is low on fluid so you might want to refill it and inspect for leaks.
