Default 1998 sc300 auto, thinking of motor swap? opinions?

Im new to the hole toyota scene im use to DSM's and hondas. I bought a 98 sc300 in very good shape. The motor had 150,000 on it, most of the work was done at lexus by previous owner and synthetic oil since he had it. Was thinking bout doing a swap or something along those lines to give it some more power. It does have the vvti so i wonder if doin a swap from a tt swap from a supra or soarer would be a problem? Can i get some light shed on this

Hahahahahah, classic. Jon, what are you doing on CL? LOL. OP, i bought the same model a year ago and been doing research ever since. You need to know your car, every nut and bolt, then know everything about other models and supras, all different years, it's the only way you can make an educated decission you can trust!! For me , after a year of research, i did a manual conversion, and i'm finally collecting my turbo parts. Whatever route you take, there are pros and cons, gotta choose what suits your goals andddddddddddddddddddddddddddd YOUR BUDGET!!!!!!!! i'll warn you right now, this is no Honda, if you do it right, be prepared to work for your car Money just seems to disappear with all the parts have to collect.....

OP I'll save you some time, search everything you can on NA-T. The engine that you have and the engine that comes in the TT supra are very close, when all is said and done, you can build the motor that is in your car to be faster than half the TT swaps out there, and at the same time have a stronger block.
