cheap manifold, cheap wastegate, cheap bov, etc. and by cheap, i'm not talking about inexpensive parts or used parts...i'm talking about ebay parts (i run an xspower intercooler myself so i'm not biased but do buy higher quality parts when i can)

things add up man. injectors are $450 at least resistor if low impedence injector, denso pump, braided fuel lines and AN fittings are not cheap, intercooler, intercooler pipes, hoses and clamps, exhaust work, etc.
have u done brakes yet? those would be the first thing before going turbo. if ls400 or tt, then u need rims to clear it.
i'm done, you'll need to search what is required and start adding numbers together. i'm over $10k in parts alone, doing all the work myself.

just motor, then probably.
i would highly recommend u do the brakes first as stock breaks suck. more power w/ stock brakes is just asking for trouble.
but with the power ur seeking, u'll also have tranny issues. if ur auto, i think everyone says to not go above 350rwhp. if 5 speed, no more than 450rwhp. so add cost of upgraded tranny parts.
cost of tuning, your looking at maybe $200 w/ a competent tuner.
again, start a spreadsheet with all the parts. you'll see that going turbo is not cheap. it sure is fun though. =)

as cheap as you want, you could probably get a turbo kit done for under 3g making about 300whp, maybe not even 300. If you want to make 500+, you need tranny upgrade and when that comes into play, it will never be cheap. I say 6g is really tough to get 600whp. 6g can probably get you to 400whp safely and reliable. just my opinion.
