Default Electrical issue maybe a short

parking lights come up with the turn of the key and lights switch off. Battery light on, and alternator was bad after 3 weeks. I replaced it today and still having the same issues...An ideas

Battery and grounds good? Sounds like the electrical ghosts again...

i know, thanks for your reply, all grounds are good. the parking lights dont stay on anymore but I still have the charging issue, if there was a short wouldnt a fuse blow out ?>

If its still not charging I would probably look to see if the alternator fuse is blown. What kind of battery are you charging?

from my last post I thought it was clear I checked the fuses.
I have an optima battery
Problem has been solved, ran a new cable from alternator to fuse box.
