15 hour Water Pump job
I can’t believe I spent sun up to sun down on saturday, and sunday replacing my water pump. I dame near had to disassemble the entire front end of the engine, just to get to the pump. Wow that was amazing, then all the little minor set backs that go along with a replacement of this type. Since I had all of that stuff off I went ahead and changed my timing belt, rotors, and spark plugs. Just a little word to the wise of anyone out there about to do this job. Dont! Forget! to seal the thermostat housing, and the block beneath it. It will save you like 3 hours of taking all of the parts back off because the dang thing is still leaking after finishing the job!!!

Yeah I had a bunch of truble when I did this on my IS300. I ended up not even changing the water pump, because the one I was sent would not bolt up to my block.
But after everything was back together I had a baaaaad coolant leak. Turned out that one of the O-rings got shredded when putting it all back together. HUGE pain to figure it out and replace it. Luckily I could get to the leak without taking the crank and all that off again.

I feel your pain. I had to replace mine after it sprung a leak in the middle of a 3hr long road trip. The job took about 5 hours. I replaced the timing belt while I was at it. The tough part for me was the timing belt tensioner. I couldnt get that little pin in there to keep it compressed.
