Talking want to make 300-350hp in a NA SC300

I just got me a sc300 after having lots of problems with a 94 455hp 300zx TT and im already missing the power difference. This time around I want to make a SC300 with 300hp+ N/A style. I had alot of Problems with my lasr Turbo'd car. Anybody here know the best way? Thnx

I know you mentioned no FI but the money you will spend to get those numbers out of the NA engine could get you a nice small na-t setup or a 1jz swap and either of those 2 will get you the hp numbers you want.

N/A you would be better off getting the 1uz (SC400)... SC300's are for boost since they have one of the most bad *** motors of all time.

okay i guess its too hard to pull those number off an N/A but if i am goin FI i just want a lil set up to make that xtra 75-125hp. What are some good Turbo packages and what are some good sites to buy performance parts. Thnx guys

I agree with the masses. Getting 300-350hp from the SC300 in n/a form is no easy task.

Have no fear about slapping a turbo on the mighty 2JZ. If you have healthy compression numbers across all cylinders, you can make your 300-350hp with a very simple turbo set up and have no fear of reliability going to crap. A ton of members have simple turbo set ups that have run successfully for years.

If you do not have healthy compression, find a lower mileage GE replacement. These can be had very cheaply (<$500) and hold more than two times the power you are looking for.
