Soon I will be getting a Lexus SC300 soon and I cant wait. My goal is to swap out the vvti motor for a gte 6 spdmotor. My hp goal is around the 550-650 range on pump gas and I want to know what parts I would need to accomplish that. I wanna do a single turbo setup instead of BPU so I have room just in case I want to go faster in the near future. Also I wanna know what are the best years to get for the SC300. Help is greatly appreciated

 

With a GTE, that HP won't be too hard to achieve. As far as the best year for SC's, Looks wise, 97-00. Since it seems like your more interested in performance, i'd say 92-95. Those cost alot less than the newer ones and are the same, unless you find a great deal. I'd stay away from a 96, since it's OBD2 with pre 97 body style.
