1jzgte exhaust 3" lose 4-6mpg?
As u guys may know, I have installed full 3" exhaust. After installation, I have lost close to 6mpg. I have been extremely easy on the throttle, and still getting 22mpg. Is this normal? Is there anyway to get better milage with the new exhaust without putting the oem back in?

Man you guys are awesome!
I forgot to subscribe to this thread!! rats! Yeah, getting right at 22mpg. You are right slow_sc3, the turbos spool extremely fast. They spool barely over 2.5k now.
The new exhaust is lighter, quite a bit lighter actually. And I do have a Cat now. I put the high flow thunderbolt 3"-5"-3".
I do have a wideband, not installed yet. The bung is just waiting for me to stick the sensor in. I will see how rich it is running.
I still cannot believe I was getting 26+mpg before the exhaust! Man I miss that! I am just getting over 430 miles to a tank. Used to get over 500.
Thanks for your input. Just finished installing new spark plugs in my wife's 2001 mustang GT. What a mess!!! you have to pull the fuel rails!
