N1 Style Mufflers??!?!
Was wondering if I should pick these up...its the N1 style mufflers(2)...2.5inch inlet and 4inch tips....thought id ask cause i found a deal for them $100 for both brand new...not 2 sure on brand...i have a 93 sc400...was thinking about just putting tips and maybe delete the 2 back resonators...let me know on a budget...would like to hear ppls thoughts about this before deciding...thanks

so if i just put the N1 style mufflers only the mufflers on my stock pipping and i leave the resonators will it still be pretty loud???..also how is the sound quality...I dont mind it being a little loud but i dont want it sounding like crap...no raspy sounds for me just deep tone...let me know...if any one has piks or sound clips pls post them...thanks

its not to loud compared to stock. its a bit lower in tone but its mainly for looks i guess... o yea its lighter too!

n1 style... those knock off mufflers can be found on ebay for 25 bucks a piece. Order it through there if your going to go that route. I'd suggest the blitz nur spec though. Sounds much better if you ask me.

i was planning on having my resonators removed and replace it w/ pipping but if i go w/ the N1 style then im gonna keep them on cause that would be way too loud...

i did 5zigen N1, 2.5 piping from the cat back (removed resonators) into 3 inch muffler...TOO LOUD..but nice
When i drive in a parking garage as slow and quiet as i can, letting go of the clutch super slow/soft, it still sets off alarms

so wat u guys think 2.5 pipping for the y-pipe back to the mufflers good enough or do all that and delete the 2 resonators let me know gonna do it this weekend...thanks 4 all your guys' info...

im not sure...the inlet size of the muffler is 2.5 so im guessin the pipping from the y pipe has to be the same size...i am not sure if some one can clarify how this works...let me know...i know the stock pipping is 2.25in so how does it work if the muffler i want has a 2.5 inlet

they still can weld it..
they will make new piping but not the whole thing (if u go that route).. and then they weld it .. yea..
if u go with the whole catback..
stick with 2.25.. and try to make mandrel bends and the lease bends as possible!.. less restriction with 2.25 is the best!
