where is the fuel filter located?
im a noob so i dont really know too much about workin on the sc300. i know this is a dumb question, but where is the fuel filter located?
also, my trunk wont open wen i use the button inside the car and i dont have the right key to open it from the outside. i checked all the fuses to see if maybe one was blown but i didnt see any that were. anyone have any suggestions?

Alright, since you're a noob we'll cut you some slack.
The fuel filter is underneath the car. It's right in front of the driver's side rear wheel well. By the way, it's a real pain to replace because if you do like most people you're going to get covered in gasoline. Seriously it can be very scary. If I ever do it again I'm going to drain the tank first.
For your other question, there's a key hole between the trunk and gas cap release buttons. This allows you to lock the trunk release so that when a valet parks your car he can't get into the trunk (assuming you give him the 'valet' key). It sounds like the only key(s) you have is the valet key. You won't be able to unlock the trunk or the trunk release without the primary key. A Lexus dealer can cut you a key given the VIN and proof of ownership.
