1jzgte Vvti Question
A friend of mine says a local shop just got hold of a 1jzgte with a 5 speed gearbox out of a 2000 Aristo.
Did that model year Aristo even come with the 1jz?
If not which model had the 1jzgte vvti with the 5 speed?
Which 5 speed is it? W58, R154? and will it fit the sc300 (shifter location)

It's an R154, but to know which vehicle it came you'll need to see the oil pan.
if front sump then chaser, all other were rear sump. Also the soarer and chaser share the same tranny which has the shifter extension and the cressida( don't remember the jdm name) has the same as the mkIII supra.
