Default MKIII W58 question

I read somewhere that MKIII w58 does not fit int sc300. Is it true?

w58 from a mkIII uses a different bellhousing, therefore its not a direct swap.

It will probably work with your SC bell and tail housing--- but you should check on the ratios to see if they may differ, and if so, it could be a favorable difference...

all w58 gear ratios are the same. the differnce is in the bell housing.
earlier SC's (92-94 i believe) still used the same shifter as the mkIII supra.

For 2jzgte swap, which bellhousing is necessary for w58?

SC300 or Supra Mk4 n/a, but is the W58 strong enough for a 2JZ-GTE?
