Default cheap turbo kit?

has anyone put together a really cheap turbo kit. of course im not talking about something at 7,8,9 psi. but a lil lower. like 5 psi... just a random thought and question.

You could probably do it for under 2 grand shopping fleabay for something comparable to any turbo "kit" you see on the market. PSI has nothing to do with quality or cost of parts. I do not see any reason at all with good home labor and very good shopping skills you could awesome (used) parts and a nice setup for under 2g and make decent power with the stock compression, and the same parts able to get you in the 500hp range with more upgrades on the motor(thicker head gasket) and better fuel system.

What are you looking for? You could probably do the XOXO turbo manifold, pick up a busted turbo off ebay, rebuild kit, alky injection and some cold side pipe if all you wanted was 5 psi

just get a reliable wastegate with a spring that maxes out at 7.25psi. run that on stock compression with the turbo of your choice for much fun .
