Aftermarket for the 1UZ
1UZ Build I found on Facebook
Since this thread is already awaken from 13 years ago lol here's a build list from a 1UZ I found for sale in England, alot of money but one hell of a build, emphasizing that building a 1UZ isn't just costly, and that there is still some aftermarket support.

This is what was posted in terms of hp numbers
"I will not split the rotating assembly because of the time and expense involved in getting it balanced. I have a spreadsheet which will calculate CR based on head gasket thicknesses and head volumes etc so can advise on this if required should you want to buy your own HGs and use stock heads or zero squish heads etc.
Will listen to sensible offers but remember when finished this will be capable of 8000rpm + and monster hp!"
"NA it should conservatively be in the high 300s. With the SC on I had a route to 650+. It should be robust to over 800 but I've deliberately over built it for longevity"

So, he doesn't know. I think high 300s is over-estimated.
Based on 50 years of experience, people who say things like "fully balanced" are novices. You can't (and would never) partially balance an engine.
Another giveaway is that he expects to add a supercharger to an engine with 11.4:1 compression.
