Default Changing spark plugs, cap/rotor, wires today

well i opened up the distibutor cap today and see this:

so i ran to the nearest friendly toyota dealer and got me genuine replacement parts with a set of iridium spark plugs ($15 a piece, ouch!)
piece of cake, 1 hour job with 2-10 minute breaks

oopsie, i think this belongs in the engine section

um, double price of a platinum plug
not 100% sure, different metal, better conductivity i guess, maybe longer life
hopefully someone who knows for sure can chime in
and the store told me not to mess with the gaping on these, they come pre-gaped from the factory

iridium is better for turbocars, but they wear out pretty fast

and they cost way more than double a platinum plug... i get platinums for $2 a piece in almost any heat range for the 2jz

i did the same maintenance on my sc3 yesterday too, plugs, wires, rotor, and cap. my rotor looked exactly the same as yours. my car runs a bunch smoother now, did yours?

So what would be a good brand Spark plug to use for the SC300?
