Wind deflectors?
Hi all:
Proud new NX 200t owner here.
Hey, does anyone make wind deflectors for this model yet? WeatherTech doesn't seem to list the model at all.
Thanks in advance.

Lexus does make them but seems to be only available outside N.A.
Checked Sewell and not available either.
Perhaps you can talk to your dealer see if they can reach out to Lexus Japan. It's a longshot but worth a try.

Weathertech has a form to fill out for new vehicles ......we did this with the CT200h to get floor mats it took forever but this model is more popular. Maybe they respond quicker?

I can tell you the WeatherTech ALL WEATHER mats from my 2013 RAV4 fit my NX perfectly both front and back. The driver mat retainers fit exactly.
The front passenger side of the NX has the clips but the RAV4 passenger mat has no holes. It's not a problem with the heavy mat and does not move around at all not using the clips.
The RAV4 cargo mat was a little on the small side in the NX so I did need to purchase the Lexus NX mat.

I've always just flipped my cargo mat upside down for daily use and then flipped it right side up when ready to sell the vehicle.

Interested to know if the RAV4 mat was smaller front to back or side to side. I know the RAV4 cargo space is taller but thought it was the same as the NX in area.

RAV4's cargo surface area is not the same. Its mat would be about 1 inch narrower at the wheel wells and curved at the bumper opening.

I don't mean the carpet mat as I'm talking about the heavy duty rubber mat that you place on top of the carpet in the cargo area.

I wrote the other day to WeatherTech regarding the window deflectors. This was their response:
We have not started production for the side window deflectors for your vehicle. We do not have a current ETA for when they will be produced, we would recommend filling out our product request form, linked below, to be notified about any changes in status.

If you have any further questions please let us know.
Note that if you decide to fill out the form you will have to check "My vehicle isn't listed" and type Lexus, 2015 and NX into the appropriate boxes above the check box.

Obviously their are some advantages of having wind deflectors, e.g. windows can be open slightly to allow fresh air into the cabin, deflectors on the front hood to defect stones and bugs, etc.
On the other side, defectors may cause wind noise that would be heard inside the cabin and although minor, would add to aerodynamic drag to the present shape of the vehicle.
Other alternatives would be to use the HVAC controls to allow fresh air into the cabin, and other products on the market such as a clear shield for the hood to reduce stone ships and bug marks.
Just some other options to consider.
