Default Scratched Rear Door

So during a momentary lapse of attention, I took a sharper than usual turn while getting out of my parking bay and scratched my rear door against my wife's parked BMW (luckily, only the bumper was scratched and I had that fixed from the dealership).

It looked quite nasty at first but then I used some wax, some conserver and made it a lot better. But once I was done, I discovered a deeper scratch (and possibly a dented line) along the door. Since it's a relatively new car, I can't stand this scratch/dent and I want to have it fixed. One way is to go to the dealer and have the whole door repainted/dented unless I can come up with a better solution. Any thoughts?

Better solution, stop looking at it. If it bothers you to the point you lose sleep, then go to the dealer and have them fix.

Repainting the whole door might be overkill. Since it's a small section and at the bottom where it's not as visible, a good paint shop will be able to blend paint it into the rest of the door.

I've been thinking it would be pretty cool to put a slightly darker paint below that hard crease in the doors, and blend it into the rest of the door. Sort of like a fade into that black plastic below the doors. Looks like you have a pretty good excuse to try it. At least on one side
