Okay so here's the story. Window got smashed in, ipod was stolen, alot of you already know... So I get the regulator for the window fixed which was broken too and I get new glass in. They tell me the glass has the factory tint on it so I assume that it's the same as my other glass. Wrong. I go to get the tint redone and that window today and we notice that this glass is alot darker than the passenger window glass. And you can't remove factory tint so I need to get another piece of glass. Without tint. Does anyone know where I can find this? I guess lexus stevens creek only carries glass with the factory tint on it too and they charge 400 dollars for one piece of glass! Anyways if anyone could help it would be much appreciated.

You can try to get a used one it's much cheaper. Go to taprecycling.com thery're located in Rancho Cordova near Sac.

The windows have a brown or gray tint depending on your interior. If you have the tan, the window will have a slight brown hue.

My windows had no such tint on it and I had gray interior.

It is not noticeable at all. I was going to buy a windshield and they asked me what color my interior was. Comes from the factory like this.

No, my windows had no tint on them. Whatsoever. I have both the window with the factory tint and a window without the factory tint(but with film tint) on my car right now. There is a noticable difference. My tint guy noticed it right away. If he were to put the same 15% tint on my drivers side window as is on my passenger window it would be nearly blacked out because of this.
