I have a 2005 RX330. I know there is a factory tint on it, and I did not apply any tint myself. It seems in a part of the rear windshield, the tint is bubbling up, I can feel it from inside of the window. I called up Lexus and they said their tints are done on the window itself, not by a film. Any opinions on why it bubbled up if it was a factory tint that isn't film?

Regardless, shouldnt they take responsibility for that? They should fix it for you, just show it to them and see what they have to say about it. Goodluck.

If you are under warranty take it in and have them change the rer glass. As they said, it is factory tinted in the glass itself and not a film, so if it is bubbling it is a factory defect.
