Alternator Relocation/Repair and Freeze Plug
Ran into some problems today would like some advice. Searched this and keep coming up with solutions for older supra motors (7m)
1. Bottom cast bracket tab for alternator is broken in half. Didn't notice this until I got it back from the machine shop and looked at pictures i took from when I first bought the block and sure enough it looks broken. Is there a bracket to relocate the alternator to the other side or is there way to fix this? Also I do not have the other half.
2. So guess I got a little hammer happy and bam, bam, BAM!!! knocked one of the freeze plugs in to deep. Tried to remove it but it just fell back in the hole. Any tips on how to get this out?

Freeze plug, take a dremel or similar and cut it down the middle, but not completely in tow, one mostly cut, should be able to grab with needle nose pliers...
The mount bracket - I don't k ow of relocation kits as the a/c compressor is on the opposite side... The way to fix that would be to weld the tab, or a piece of metal to go in place of the tab, then drill and tap that...
