Default 1991 Lexus LS400: How to Remove Steering Column Cover

Hi,

The steering of my '91 LS400 is stuck in the "up" position and I'm looking to fix it (apparently its likely a blue wheel that is off course) as I've seen it done a few times on this forum and others. The thing is I can't seem to get the steering column cover off. I removed two screws underneath the column and one on the lower right of the front of the steering wheel. The two steering column pieces still seem pretty firmly stuck. I believe there is a clip on both sides, but I'm a little scared to just "pull" it in case they break. Does anyone have any advice or should I just "pull".

Thanks!

Default Figured it out

The secret was to telescope the wheel all the way out before pulling on the bottom console panel. Piece of cake!
