15K Service on RX300 - Re-torque Flange
In the 2002 RX300 Lexus "Scheduled Maintenance Log", at 15K miles, there is a "re-torque drive shaft flange bolts" operation. But, there isn't any such flange mentioned as such in the Service Manual.
Do they mean the six 8 mm hex bolts between the "inboard joint shaft" and the "outboard joint shaft" (for a FWD model), or something else? You'd think they would use common terminology between the Service Manual and Maintenance Log. For those without a Service Manual, the proper torque appears to be 48 ft-lbs.

It seems to me that this operation is for 4WD only.
A driveshaft runs from front to rear.
On a FWD they would "axle" shafts and you need not worry about needing to tighten those bolts. Trust me, they're tight.
