Default 95 SC400 AC Charge

I looked in the Lexus repair manual and the AC Spec page reads Volume - 850+/- 50g. @ 30g/ounce that equals about 28 ounce +/- 2.

I put two cans of R134a into the car (26 ounces) and the light is still blinking. Anyone care to suggest that I need another can? I hear the compressor click over, but I would thing that the tank would be good being that it is over 90% full.

Thanks

was it empty before?

what are the high and low side pressures?

a/c is not something you can just go adding freon to and expect it to work...

what was the original problem?

Your compressor or clutch may locking up on you. Expect to pay for the new compressor and clutch and receiver/dryer.
