These are what my wheel locks on my car looks like, anyone know the part number for the key?? On one of the lugs it says "McGard Patent Pending" These came in a pack of 5 (4 lug nuts, 1 wheel lock) but no key!?

These star-shaped Wheel Locks are on my wheels and I need to buy a replacement key so I can open them without having to cut them off.

I saw a set of Mcgard keys for Lexus up on Ebay in the past year. If you're in no hurry, you could look on Ebay too, although calling the company is a great idea (On 2nd thought, I guess you might get a flat tire at any time). Another alternative is to find a dealer who could take them off and then put on a new set, that you have the key for. I would think that most dealers could remove them.

I seem to recall reading here that you can take them off by pounding a socket over them, or something like that, too.

Yeah, but I don't want to risk my rims getting all scratched up. All the wheel locks are on and all I'm missing is the key. So I'm just looking for the key to save me the headache of having to get them off, buying new wheel locks,lugnuts, etc.

Matching key's doesn't seem that difficult. Several local shops with them, I flipped through the offerings and enough had identical patterns. I wonder if some of the tow truck drivers have a drawer full for such emergencies.

Hmm after reviewing that site that Tammy linked (http://www.mcgard.com/custserv/auto_parts.asp) it seems as if it shows a picture of the wheel lock that I'm missing a key for.... The 3rd one.

I am adding more to this thread. Hope this will be helpful to those who would have this problem.
My 97 Lexus ES300 has a set of wheel locks. I didn't lose the key. My problem is that the key is broken. May me or other mechanics put too much torque on it.
I googled and found a few ways to remove the lock. I tried 19mm 12-point socket and it failed. I tried CTA lug nuts removal tool socket and it fails. I tried with my friends' Lexus lock key and it didn't work.
I noticed the key has 6 teeth and each teeth has 3 possible shapes, so the total possible patterns can by 3^6, you can calculate it. So don't try to buy a key from Ebay, unlikely you will find the right key to match your locks.

So I went to the nearby Lexus dealer at Pleasanton, CA and talked to the service department. The man was very helpful. I asked if I could ask for a tire rotation service and replace the locks with normal lug nuts. He said why not asking parts department first. He brought me to the parts window and they had a set of all Lexus master keys. It is about 20 keys in his box. The parts guy came to my car and try every master key and found the right one. He went back to inventory and sold me the one for $28 including tax. This ended my nervousness. I was worried to get a flat tire and can't remove my tires.

So my experience is that for parts/liquid related issues, ask the dealer first. At least the Toyota/lexus dealers near my home sell part in reasonable prices. They sell parts even cheaper than Ebay and Amazon.
