MY 2001 GS300 making weird clicking noise from front wheels at low speed.
yea my 2001 GS300 is making a weird clicking/squeeking noise and it sounds like its coming from the front. it makes the noise at low speeds and as i speed up, the clicks are faster but once i hit the brakes the noise goes away. my car has 70,000 miles. im thinking its warped rotors but not sure. ive been to 2 different shops and they have no clue what it is. also they check if maybe it was my bearings and its not, my bearings are fine. does anyone know what it could me please post and let me know. thanx

Might sound ridiculous and I'm not taking the p*ss but last time i had this problem on a car, it drove me mad and plenty of places claimed to have a good look, but it was just wheel bolts that weren't torqued up correctly. As in loose. Cheap to try...

If the lug nuts are too tight, they may warp your rotors.. They are torqued to 76 Ft Lb. (dry). The clicking you hear would be the pads moving in the caliper when the pad hits a high spot.
Were the ball joints checked for play, along with the A-arm bushings? Front antisway bar end play in the ball pivit ends?
The brake pads are in good condiction and the rotors are not scored badly? The brake fluid appears to be fresh and clear?
Many times this condiction is confused with old brake fluid with air in the brake lines causing the brakes to drag on the rotor.

Sure, any suspension part that moves may be a source of noise.
When you reinstall the pads, a touch of caliper grease on the pad ends where they contact the calipers... There may be a little rust at these points; both inner and outer pads.
